Monster Manor

Monster Manor is a game that helps families of young children with Type 1 Diabetes manage their blood sugar testing and logging by adding a dose of fun to the challenge.

Monster Manor engages children in managing their own diabetes. Gameplay rewards their efforts such as logging blood sugar. Players can unlock crazy monsters, bizarre furniture and weird pets.

The game features an integrated blood sugar tracker and logger that allows children to enter their diabetes information. In the spirit that “every test is a good test” - each entry rewards the player with a piñata to “smash” by tapping to collect the fun prize inside. Currency earned in the game allows children to create monsters, unlock furniture and rooms within for separate “Monster Manors”, collect cute pets for their monsters, and rare items.

In addition to rewarding kids, Monster Manor's blood sugar logger provides parents with insights, strategies and a tool to support their child’s management efforts. Logged blood sugars are easily read by kids, families and doctors - with colour-coded readings helping families and caregivers spot trends in glycemic control.
