Nodus Fall is an upcoming cooperative action game from HoYoverse, the developer behind popular titles such as Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero. Revealed during Gamescom Opening Night Live, the project marks a striking departure from the studio’s familiar anime-inspired style. Instead, it presents a darker, more realistic fantasy world filled with enormous mythical creatures, ruined landscapes, and intense battles that demand close cooperation.

Set in a world where divine authority has collapsed and order has disappeared, Nodus Fall follows a group of powerful beings known as Weavers. These characters are connected to the essence of creation and are given the difficult task of changing the fate of a shattered continent. As ancient powers fade and dangerous creatures roam freely, players must explore the remains of civilization, recover lost divine energy, and uncover the truth behind the world’s destruction.

A Dark Fantasy World

The first trailer introduces a vast fantasy setting inspired by mythology from different cultures.
