A Mobile Application Translator of Philippine Dialects with Voice Recognition
PentaLect is a mobile application which translates the common used words of the Five dialects in the Philippines which are Panggalatok, Ilocano, Cebuano, Tagalog and Kapampangan (Sabornido, 2015). The user will select a dialect for the word to be translated. The application has a list of 100 commonly used words of each dialect that can be translated. In order to translate the spoken word, user will only use English language for speaking. The application consists of voice recognition feature that translates the spoken word to text and also it has a speech button to hear the proper pronunciation of the word on the selected dialect
