The Futebol Clube do Porto, more commonly abbreviated as FC Porto or FCP, is a Portuguese sports club in the city of Porto, founded in 1893. Its football section has participated in all editions of the Portuguese championship of which it is a founding member, since 1934. Winner of the Champions League in 1987 and 2004, FC Porto dominated its league for two decades as illustrated by the fifteen league titles won between 1992 and 2013. FC Porto has since become the Portuguese club with the best international charts. The club has the distinction of being listed on the stock exchange.
