This app provides even the newest Android user with a simple method to control their device for root (admin, superuser or su) access. The application provides a very simple user interface that easily informs the user whether they have properly root (superuser) access or not.

It is the most common method used to grant and manage root (superuser) access on Android devices. Root Checker will check and verify that the su file exists in a common standard location on the device. In addition, Root Checker will verify if the su binary is working properly in gaining root (superuser) access.

Often times, users encounter problems with the way of installing, configuring and gaining root access or removing and removing root access. For some users the process may seem complicated, for others the process may seem simple. Regardless of the technical skill set of the user, Root Checker quickly and accurately verifies if root access is working 100%. The process of validating root access is sometimes known in other terms like gaining superuser access or gaining administrator access. Root Checker covers all these terms as they relate to one basic function, with root access it can execute commands over su binary.

If Superuser management applications (SuperSU, Superuser, etc.) are installed and working properly, these applications will prompt the user to accept or deny the root access request from the Root Controller. Accepting the request will allow Root Checker to check and approve root access. Denying the request causes the Root Checker to report that it does not have root access.
