SANDAG CV Survey

This app collects automated trip diaries for commercial vehicle drivers. It is used by invitation only, in association with transportation surveys conducted by public agencies such as regional associations of governments or state departments of transportation. Data collected by this app is provided only to the agency conducting the survey. The survey is administered by ETC Institute, a public agency. Invited app users are provided with a unique token required to log in to the app. The minimum (and typical) survey duration is one day (24 hours). The user is asked to allow the app to collect phone location data in the background, for the duration of the survey, to accurately record the stops made by the vehicle. ETC Institute’s data privacy information is available via the app and on our website. The app user can out from the survey at any time.
