Seguras App fights against gender violence and gives security to women.

Seguras App is an application aimed at both women and the rest of the public and which aims to provide more security in different situations. In addition, it serves to report and detect cases of gender violence. This application provides various tools to help and support victims or anyone who wishes to collaborate in the fight against gender violence.

• ALERT BUTTONS: The application includes buttons to indicate different alert states. A maximum alert face :( is used to send a trusted contact an alert message including the user's location via email or Telegram. A worried face :| would send a message to the trusted contact every so often until indicate that everything is OK using the smiley face button :).

• SAFE RETURN HOME: To ensure the return home, the distance and time remaining to get home is sent from time to time to the trusted contact, sending an alert if something is not going to be detected. right.

• QUICK CALL TO CONTACT: For emergencies, the user is given the option to quickly call a trusted contact.

• TEST: A 10-question test has been created in order to detect whether the person taking it suffers or has suffered gender-based violence at some point in their life. The test includes different areas in which a person can suffer gender violence from the psychological field, harassment in social networks to physical abuse. In addition, with each answer given, the application offers advice depending on the answer that the person who is taking the test answers. At the end of the test, the application will give a profile depending on the answers you have answered, based on the criteria offered on its website by the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality.

• “QUICK EXIT”: The application provides an immediate exit button in case the person using this application has the need not to be discovered using this application. The app is not visible in the recent apps list.

• CAMOUFLAGE APPLICATION: the application offers the option of changing the icon and name with which it appears on the device for an icon of an “i” for information, so it can appear as an essential application in all mobile phone. This makes the app unrecognizable to other users and protects victims. This option can be changed at any time after installation.

• QUICK ACCESS 016: With this tool it will be possible to call the telephone number against gender violence 016 through different screens of the application such as the main screen or in the event that the person gives positive in the gender violence detection test. In addition, a widget is offered that can be placed on the main page of the mobile phone to call 016.

• INFORMATION: This application provides information about what to do in case you suffer gender-based violence, if you know someone who suffers it or simply want to help as a citizen. In addition, it also offers legal advice explaining different laws that protect victims of gender violence, and information about the 016 telephone number and the services it provides to citizens.

• SHARE INFORMATION: Gender violence must be eradicated from society, so with this application you can give your support against gender violence by sharing our photos and videos with your family and friends.

Seguras App has been developed by some members of the University of Alicante and the GPLSI research group of the UA.
