SMS Handler

This app allows the user create a list of rules that is verified for each SMS received. This is similar a warning central, where you can set a specific color and alarm (vibrate or sound) as alert for each SMS that matches with the rule.

HOW IT WORK:

The user can create a rule into "ADD NEW RULE" menu. In this rule he can especify three differents strings searchs and when a new sms is received the created rule is verified. For example: The activity of "ADD NEW RULE" attached show us the three strings that is searched at the body of the message, in that case the phone will vibrate and play alarm if the message contain the text "data fail" and the word "customer" and the text "B2B", if the message atent this three requeriments the warning screen will be updated with the new alert. You can use the operator "AND" and "OR" to create customized rules for each kind of received message.

As some images show, a template must be follow to make the warning working okay. Basically the SMS received is splited in four partes. In the first, the time and date of event are defined and must begin with "At" - for example "At 21:35 15/11". In the second, the Province Code "PC" must be defined - for example "MA", don't need space before and after the comma. In the third, the identification (ID) must be defined, normally it correspond to some control code, trouble ticket etc. In the fourth, the Cause it will be the fourth part of the message - you can have more commas after the fourth comma, the cause will be only the text between the third and the fourth comma.

The "status" field in the message content of waring screen show the last time status update received - last message updated, in case of the message had been updated. And the final field is the "№", this field is the number of sender.

Important to say, that if you receive another SMS with the same ID, and with more text before the "At xx/xx xx/xx" it will be trated like a message update, so you will not receive another alarm (vibrate or sound), you will only receive a notification of Status Update.

You can send a message update with a "(Ok" at the begin, this will mark the message with ok in the warning screen. This exist to communicate the user that a fail or warning alredy solved.

You can try and understant how the app work sending messages to yourself, and creating rules for your own phone number. This is a simple way to understant the template that app work.

The menu itens "Silent" and "Vacation" allow the user just silent the audio or even cancel the handle the SMS in case of vacation.

PERMISSIONS:

This app request SMS read and STORAGE change permissions, it is necessary because the app need to receive a copy of all SMS received by the phone in real time, and all the sms that have some rule matched is saved in the storage as a xml file.
