How it works?

First of all, we use IPFS Node instead of imgur because decentralized is the future of website maybe? maybe not.

What is IPFS?

IPFS allows users to host and receive content in a manner similar to bittorent.com

IPFS is built around a decentralized system of user-operators who hold a portion of the overall data, creating a resilient system of file storage and sharing. Any user in the network can serve a file by its content address, and other peers in the network can find and request that content from any node who has it using a distributed hash table by wikipedia.com

Is it really different from imgur?

In term of regulation, yes. In everyday use, no not really. when you upload image to a server and that server is taken down there ain't no way to retrieve that photo back but ipfs can fix that but you have to host your file to different node providers, so if one is taken down others can still operate.

Will you guys support other media rather then Image, Photo?

Yes. We plan to support Video, and maybe regular text file.
