We've all heard practice makes perfect in sports. In Soccer, repeating a skill over and over improves your muscle memory. But the practice has to be correct in form & technique and repeated with improvements each time. Hence the saying "Only perfect practice makes perfect".

formOle is a cutting-edge, AI-based app that helps you practice your form and technique in fundamental Soccer skills, such as a taking a Free Kick. It’s simple to use: you don't need sensors or any specialized recording equipment. Just your phone. Place the soccer-ball down and step back to set your phone at the recommended recording angle. Tap the big red button and take your shot!

formOle's Artificial Intelligence gets started right after you hit "Send for Analysis". For a Free Kick for instance, it measures and tracks 7 unique datapoints on your kick and compares it against our Golden Standard. Based on the comparison, the AI "Virtual Coach" suggests how you could alter your form to improve the consistency, accuracy and power of your kicks. Use this app multiple times to improve, each time focusing on the Virtual Coach recommendations.

Whenever you've recorded a kick you like (we all have our favorites!!) send it to your friends as a Beat That! challenge. They'll have a week to match it with their own, and then you can all decide who wins the coveted "Best Overall Kick" award. Don't worry, there are some other nice medals if you don't get Best Overall, including our favorite: The Great Form Award. Be sure to encourage your friends and learn from them too. After all, Soccer is a team sport!

formOle's AI has been developed by College WCC/NCAA Champion Soccer Players and Coaches. We are just getting started on this powerful technology, and will be adding more skills to our analysis.
