  • New, in beta: the visual agent. Say what you want to do on screen, it looks for the control, tells you what it found, and you confirm with a two-finger double tap. On a grid (image CAPTCHA) it describes cell by cell.
  • New: holding a volume key runs an action.
  • New: pivot rotor — rest one finger, turn the other around it.
  • Speech: relay engines such as Auto TTS are no longer wrongly replaced by Google TTS.
  • Translations up to date in 28 languages.

  Talk Forward 26.7.11
  • Stability: a failure in one feature can no longer switch the screen reader off. Fixes a crash that made Talk Forward restart repeatedly after a reboot, before the first unlock (reported on Xiaomi).
  • New, experimental: screen recognition. Switch it on per app from the "Screen recognition" rotor entry to navigate an app that exposes no usable accessibility data. Swipe to move, double-tap to activate.
