Freerice – Learn, Have Fun, Help End Hunger

Freerice is a fun and educational trivia game that lets you make a difference and get smarter — just by playing. With dozens of categories — from English vocabulary to famous paintings — you can quiz yourself on your favorite subject, and generate money to support the World Food Programme at the same time.

Here's how it works: every question you answer correctly in Freerice helps you generate the cash equivalent of 10 grains of rice. This financial payment goes to the UN World Food Programme (WFP) to support its life saving work to end hunger around the world. This money is used for many types of assistance — not just rice — depending on where needs are greatest.

100% of all funds generated on Freerice go to the World Food Programme, and 93.5% of every payment received by the World Food Programme goes directly to helping children and their families. Freerice does not earn or keep any money it raises.
