Helios Charging

Helios makes charging your electric vehicle simple. Find a charger nearby, scan the code on it, and start charging. You do not need an account.

FIND A CHARGER

See the chargers around you on a map, or as a list sorted by how far away they are. Each one shows what type of connector it has, how fast it charges, and whether it is free right now, so you know before you drive there.

START CHARGING IN SECONDS

Point your camera at the QR code on the charger and the app opens straight to that connector. You see the price per kilowatt hour and any session fee before you agree to anything.

PAY ONLY FOR WHAT YOU USE

We place a temporary hold on your card before charging starts, then charge you only for the energy you actually took. The rest of the hold is released. Short sessions below the free threshold cost nothing at all.

Card details are entered in Stripe's own payment sheet and never reach Helios. We store only the card brand, the last four digits and the expiry date, so you can recognize your own card.

WATCH IT CHARGE

See energy delivered, how fast it is charging, the cost so far and how long it

has been running. If your car stops charging but stays plugged in, the app tells you before any idle fee starts, with a countdown and the exact time it begins.

BUY ENERGY IN ADVANCE

Buy kilowatt hours ahead of time and spend them at participating chargers. A prepaid balance does not expire. If it runs out mid session the charging does not stop; the rest goes to your saved card.

KEEP YOUR RECEIPTS

Sign in with a code sent to your phone or email if you want your charging history kept across devices and a card saved for next time. Sessions you charged before signing in are attached to your account automatically.

You can delete your account and the personal information attached to it at any time, from the app or from helioscharging.com/account/delete.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your location or your charging history for advertising. We do not track you in the background: location is used only while the app is open, to show you what is nearby.
