In 1985 Mitchell Coleman (then known as MC-007) decided to market a demo to Dave Wooley Productions. After many street dilemmas, ghetto traps, etc. Mitchell decided to really focus on journalism. After a four-year stint at University of Phoenix’s Online Bachelor of Journalism program, Coleman maximized his gift for leading OCG’s (Online Collaborative Groups) to create thee Yo! Hood News Team Delaware behemoth east coast aceented with his ‘Keep Yo Hood Up’ moniker.
Currently being developed into a phone ap, Hood News will utilize all and any links to assist young men from prison with entry into a stif-necked society that caged the young men in the first place. Moreover, Coleman works vehemently with the city of Wilmington, Delaware to reduce recidivism using education, technology and plain old street smarts to reduce recidivism.
