Smartphone Usage Survey

This app is part of an academic online survey. The app lists all the applications currently installed on your phone.

What is collected?

The app will only collect information (general device configuration) that we need for the research study and we will let very few people access this data and only if they really need it for this study.

No identifying information will be collected about you. Your decision to participate or decline participation in this study is completely voluntary and you have the right to terminate your participation at any time without penalty. If you do not wish to complete this part of the survey do not install the app or decline the policy when you launch the app.

How do we use the collected information?

The information collected by the app is uploaded anonymously and securely to our servers at Imperial College London. Everyone involved in this study will keep your data safe and secure. We will also follow all privacy rules.  At the end of the study we will save some of the data in case we need to check it AND/OR for future research.  We will make sure no-one can work out who you are from the reports we write.
