Space Explorer transformed 15 of Hackney’s unused spaces into an outdoor interactive gallery, transporting users to the American desert while they walked the East London streets.
Originally built in 2016, some gallery images still show and can be located in the app.
The project was part Kickstarter funded with partners including Lonely Planet, VSCO and Hackney Council, it was featured as Wired Magazine App of the Month with press coverage including The Future Laboratory, Nowness, London Live and The Independent.
