Spelling Small Words

Spelling Small Words is a great app for children who are just about to break the code of reading. The app is using the actual letter sounds, and not the letter names, as it is the letter sounds that are the true building blocks of words and syllables.

Spelling Small words consists of 4 smaller apps.

1. Find the first sound

2. Find the last sound

3. Find the middle sound

4. Spell the whole word

The app is using only short vowel sounds and one-syllable words with 3-4 phonetic sounds (mostly CVC words), depending on the level. The app comes with 300 tasks.
