On her way she meets the wolf and tells him her plans even though she was warned not to talk to strangers by her mother. The hungry wolf races to grandma’s house eats the grandma, dresses in her clothes and gets into the bed. Red arrives to find the door open and her grandma in bed. ‘Oh! grandmother,' she said, 'what big ears you have!'' All the better to hear you with, my child,' was the reply. 'But, grandmother, what big eyes you have!' she said. 'All the better to see you with, my dear.''But, grandmother, what large hands you have!'' All the better to hug you with.' 'Oh! but, grandmother, what a terrible big mouth you have!'' All the better to eat you with!', the wolf said and ate the little red riding hood. But when the wolf falls asleep, a huntsman spots his foe and cuts his belly open saving red and her grandma.
