AppSLPD

AppSLPD is a tool to calculate the transversal dimension of the fuelbreak (width) and response testing regarding of the energy release from the flame of fire in contact with the fuelbreak. THis second option offer a very important information in terms of safety for the firefighters in function of the maximun energy received by a body located at a specific distance that the user need to define in the input set.

This project has been developed in the financial framework of innovation and research projects:

The AppSLPD model has been developed by Dr. Fco. Rodríguez and Silva, Forest Engineer, Master on Economy Applied and Master on Economic Research, from the Forest Fire Laboratory of Forest Engineering Department (LABIF-UCO), University of Córdoba, Spain.
