ArtMe Famous Paintings

Find out juicy details about world's most famous paintings. You'll receive a

new wallpaper each day. All you have to do is press the yellow box at your

top right and read vivid information about the artist and what he meant to

show in that painting. Don't waste time searching among hundreds of images.

The information comes to you. Daily.

Each painting is displayed randomly for only one day and is refreshed by

midnight.

The maximize button, in the right corner, allows you to see the painting

full screen. By pressing the information button during the full screen

session, you can learn about the works of classic artists like Leonadro da

Vinci, Monet, Rembrandt, Pablo Picasso, van Gogh, Renoir, Cezanne, Raphael

or Salvador Dali.

In the Pro version you can learn more information about the famous paintings

of some of the most well-known painters of all the times.

The current location, creation year, movement and a description are

available in the Pro version.

ArtMe Famous Paintings dynamically downloads new paintings to be displayed

as wallpapers when needed. By default, the Auto Download option is on, but

you can disable it if you want to keep control of your Internet traffic.

Even when the Auto Download option is disabled, you can manually download

new paintings at any time.

ArtMe notifies you if it needs to download more paintings. In the

configuration screen, you can see the number of new paintings - the

paintings that have already been loaded into the application cache and will

be displayed during the next days.

ArtMe uses a smart delete policy that prevents loading the memory with a

large number of paintings. It automatically deletes old images that were

displayed in the past, so that the amount of used memory is minimal.
