Astronauts are some of Mankind's greatest adventurers. They have traveled to space since the USA and Soviet Union were locked in the space race. Astronauts in Space Wallpapers is a small glance of what has been an amazing achievement for all of us.

Many of the wallpaper images are of the Apollo astronauts who explored the moon in the late 1960's and the early 1970's. Some of the wallpaper options are of an astronaut driving the moon rover. There is a few pictures of Astronauts and the American flag planted on the moon. These make excellent background images.

There are also some spectacular images of an astronaut as he works high over Earth. Others are the International astronauts working on the International Space Station and others are from astronauts working around the Space Shuttle.

I specifically designed the app to work on phones and tablets. I tested mainly on the Galaxy S2 through Galaxy S6. Also tested on the Galaxy Tab4. I tested also on a HTC M9 and M8. Also looked good on a Samsung Captivate, which has a smaller screen. The buttons are a little small on the Tab4, but the wallpapers look nice and fit naturally.

Once the app has set the background, it does not have to continue to run in the background. You can add a widget to your screen for fast changing of galaxy wallpapers.
