There are no additional accessories needed – simply remove the cover from your device and attach the microphone to the lower abdomen area to get the best results. All of your recordings are stored safely in the app and you can revisit and share them anytime you want.

Baby heartbeat listener allows pregnant women and dads to listen to, record and share their unborn baby's heartbeat through the abdomen.

This application has a fun and non-medical purpose. It requires headphones and works like a stethoscope filtering and amplifying the sound from the microphone before the rebroadcast of the headphones.

This application does not work with headset.

The quality of listening depends on:

-The quality of the microphone equipping your smartphone (or tablet). Following models and brands, the sound quality can range from a clear and audible beat to no beat sound at all.

-Your headphones quality. Some devices badly restore low sounds like heart beat and can make listening impossible.

To maximize chances to hear your heart, it is necessary to use the application in a totally silent room.

If you do not hear anything, please try again as baby's position might not allow you to hear anything. There is no magic, working of this app entirely depends on your phone's hardware. If your phone's microphone can record high fidelity sound (<150Hz) then you will be hearing the beats. We have tested this on few but it can not be tested on the entire gamut of phones this app is available on.

For better sound quality, the application also provides user the ability to tune sound filter through parameters. This will allow you to adjust settings to your specific device characteristics.
