Barishal Ideal Polytechnicis (BIPI) one of the most prestigious institutions for mid-level studies in the south of the country. At present Barishal Ideal Polytechnic (BIPI) has 4 teaching departments. Every year the intake of Diploma students is around 360.

The Barishal Ideal Polytechnic campus is in the heart of City Corporation in Barishal city-one of the divisional headquarters of Bangladesh.
