Despite its turbulent history of war and destruction, many сultural treasures and attractions of Belarus have survived to tell the history of this fascinating country. Masterpieces of a world-class standard are represented in the major museums of Belarus National Museum of History of the Republic of Belarus - the largest museum in the country, the National Art Museum of Belarus, Vitebsk Art Museum, Mogilev Regional Art Museum, National Polotsk Historical and Cultural Museum, etc. Annually vibrant cultural festivals take place. There are 27 state theaters and a large number of independent amateur groups in Belarus.

Belarusian cuisine has evolved over many centuries. Traditional dishes from Belarus remain popular. For these reasons, you’ll find that Belarusian cuisine is quite similar to those of Russia, Lithuania, Ukraine and Poland. The Jewish community has also contributed much to modern-day food culture in Belarus.

Most foreigners visiting Belarus require a visa.

 citizens from Serbia and Montenegro (for visits up to 30 days)

 Mongolian citizens (for visits up to 30 days)

 Venezuelan citizens (for visits upto 90 days)

 Macedonian citizens (for visits up to 30 days)
