BIT Database

BIT Technical Information Database is a versatile tool for collecting information about enterprise infrastructure.

BIT Application can also be used for storing strictly organized details about your everyday life! You can use it for home or garden decoration data or aggregating collections (holiday photos, music etc.).

BIT can be used not only for gathering and analysis of any kind of entity, but it also provides you with the possibility to define complex relations between them, thus enabling you to recreate the reality within your own private database. The objects that you save in BIT can be organized in a hierarchical manner e.g. you can describe your construction data, breaking it down into containers (i.e. rooms or floors). Each of them can be assigned a number of attributes that describe its features and “links” with other objects can be defined. The list of attributes can be freely modified and extended by the user to faithfully and precisely describe the actual object.

The system consists of three levels:

• Values definition – stores all the possible attributes that can be used for describing objects

• Object and value templates - represents the object hierarchy as a tree-like structure

• Objects – collection of actual instances of objects created based on templates
