Reading English Newspaper can help us improve our reading ability, learn more

vocabulary and let us know what has happened in the world. We can read

newspaper via the methods below:

a. Turn to the front page. Read the headlines to know what has happened,

because the most important things are put on the front page.

b. Choose the first five articles that attract you. Then read the first two to three of

them.

c. If you want to read more, you can turn to other columns, such as sport. Then

choose the top five articles, read their title and the first paragraph. We can use

these methods to reduce the time we read the newspapers meanwhile keep us

informed of important events.

c. Before reading the articles, read the headline of each article first to choose five

articles which interest you.

d. Just read each article its first and second paragraph which will provide you

general ideas about the event you’re reading.

newspaper thinner. This means just read the headline, the topic of the article,

then find the interesting sections that you like. Second, browse every article you

like just one or two paragraphs. Read no more than five articles. You can

“when”, “where”, “what”, “who”, and “how”. That will help you read quickly. The

last one, don’t be afraid of new words. You can understand what it means in the

context.
