CIE A-Level Physics Words

This app can be used to help high school students to learn the terminologies in CIE A-Level Physics.

There are three functional tabs:

1) Word Study: for each of the important terms in English from both AS and A2, you can find its corresponding explanation in English, its translation in Chinese, the similar terms, and the related terms. The terms are groups according to the topics covered in the 2016 syllabus of CIE A-Level Physics.

2) Interactive Quiz: by selecting a specific topic, you can start the corresponding quiz and finally obtain a statistical summary for the quiz. During the quiz, whenever you fail in any question, the corresponding term is stored in a backend database, together with a star level which reflects how many times you failed to give the correct answer. This information will be used in Tab 3 (see next) to assist you determine your weakness in your study. Please note that the highest star level is 5.

3) Word Review: Here you can retrieve all he terms at different star levels and review them accordingly. Apparently, the higher the star level, the more urgent you need to review as early as possible, so that you can manage to spend your time more efficiently. When you are confident with the starred words, you can delete them from the backend database.

In addition, you can set an alarm to let you know you can start to study at specific time.

Please note that the bank of terminologies will be updated constantly.
