One of the things I am grateful for is to had the chance how to learn an to develop drawing. It is great to be able to freely express my ideas through images and lines. The whole idea of planning something and be able to use the drawing craft to place it on paper is very satisfying. And thanks to the internet I have met impressionable artists that have given me a sense of direction. I have learned the how to tutorials that it would have difficult for me to find any other way.

On one occasion I was talking to a friend in my office. He saw a drawing that I had completed in a book and he asked me: "How do you draw?" He proceeded to copy the drawing without much success. We talked about that knowing how to draw is a natural skill. Some are born with it and while others struggle to draw a straight line, not getting the right secret. It happens to be wrong. The truth is that everybody knows how to draw. I can assured you all that you will be can able to make very good drawing. It is true, every time I run a tutorial it happens. It is more satisfying to learn how to bring your drawing to life with the use of colour. It is nice to draw the sea but to be able to have a raging blue sea is quite different. It takes you to a different direction.

Any new direction is likely to present you with challenges. Just keep going and you will se an improvement in your work very quickly. The secret is to try and to do it regularly.
