Easy DIY Angel Tree Topper Crochet

Gauge:  17 dc and 8 rows = 4 ins [10 cm].

Instructions:

Approx height: 8 ins [20.5 cm]

Head

   Ch 5. Join with sl st to form a ring.

   1st rnd: 10 sc in ring. Join with sl st to first sc.

   2nd rnd: Ch 2 (counts as hdc). 1 hdc in first sc. 2 hdc in each sc around. Join with sl st to top of ch 2. 20 hdc.

   3rd rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in first hdc. 2 sc in next hdc. *1 sc in next hdc. 2 sc in next hdc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first sc. 30 sc.

   4th rnd: Ch 2. 2 hdc in next sc. *1 hdc in next sc. 2 hdc in next sc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to top of ch 2. 45 hdc.

Bodice

   1st rnd: Ch 3 (counts as 1 dc). 1 dc in first sc. 2 dc in each sc around. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. 24 dc.

   2nd rnd: Ch 3. 1 dc in same sp as last sl st. 2 dc in each dc around. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. 48 dc.

   3rd rnd: Ch 3. 2 dc in next dc. *1 dc in next dc. 2 dc in next dc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. 72 dc.

   4th rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in same sp as last sl st. *Ch 3. Skip next 2 dc. 1 sc in next dc. Rep from * around to last 2 sts. Ch 1. Miss next dc. 1 dc in first sc.

   5th rnd: Ch 1. 1 sc in first dc. *Ch 4. 1 sc in next ch-3 sp. Rep from * around, ending with ch 1. 1 dc in first sc.
