The world is changing faster than anybody can keep up with, and making sure the voices of young people are heard is important. It is your future, why shouldn’t you have your say? At the moment it seems to be dismissed far too easily.

Here's what you can do on Elkamy:

- Find uni friends: Connect with people at your university or any other university throughout the UK. Add them as a friend and stay connected throughout your journey. Take advantage of finding friends on your course and at your university before you get there.

- At my uni: See everything that you could find useful in and around your university. Here you'll find the latest events, offers, giveaways, articles, exclusive local discounts, and much more to come, all in one place!

- Questions: We get it, uni is tough! So here's a place to ask a question or just vent about it! Ask questions to people at your university. Whether you have a concern or need some advice from fellow students, this is the place to do it.

Communities: Find your favourite communities to get involved with here, whether it’s music, sport or anything else in between. You can join as many as you like and get all the latest articles, offers, events and more. We recommend joining at least 4 communities.

- Events: Find all the latest events in your local area and throughout the UK. By joining communities you can get more specific about which events you would like to see to make sure you don't miss out!

- Offers & giveaways: Get exclusive discounts and offers through Elkamy. We offer localised discounts and offers surrounding your university and throughout the UK. We plan to introduce more and more offers and discounts as Elkamy grows.

We wanted to create a platform for young people to express themselves which has simple principles:

A safe place without trolling where people can be heard. Embracing togetherness is now more important than ever, and a diverse community is the best way of promoting a positive change.

No conflicts of interest or invasion of your personal data and privacy. Selling and sharing data is just something we’re not interested in. That’s your business, not ours. Check out our ethics policy.

Providing support if you need it, or perhaps helping somebody you know.

We think that these basic principles seem lacking these days, especially online. So we created Elkamy.
