in app vector tiling - vector data is automatically broken up into 256x256 tiles for optimal display and rendering and only data in view is loaded.

Web services support:

Add web services published from OGC Map Servers like GeoServer, MapServer, MapGuide and ESRI ArcGIS. Supported formats are:

TMS/XYZ TILE SERVERS (raster tiles and vector tiles)

OGC WMTS - Web Map Tile Service

OGC WMS - Web Map Service

ESRI ArcGIS dynamic map services (MapServer)

ESRI Tile Map - ArcGIS ImageService and Cached MapService

ESRI FeatureLayer (FeatureServer)

(Currently NOT SUPPORTED: OGC WFS, ESRI Vector Tiles are because they use indexed non flat.)

The app includes OpenWeatherMap weather overlays

Vector Tiles Open Street Map Basemaps with style picker with Contour Lines and Raster Hillshade options as well as 3D Buildings

Or select traditional Raster tile basemaps (Open street map, Satellite Imagery from multiple providers Google, BING, HERE, ESRI, Others), Stamen, Thunderforest and many others. Easily add more basemaps via the add web services URL feature.

Supports IP GeoLocation and Internal Sensors (GNSS/GPS) as well as ability to connect to high precision external GNSS Receivers.
