Like we stated above, Sonic Forces offers a classic take on Sonic storyline. The world is slowly getting overtaken by Dr. Eggman and his robotic goons. Since robots are destroying the land, Sonic and his resistance of allies bring things to justice. Not only has Eggman assembled an army to aid his efforts but a new villain proves to intimidate. A mysterious new villain named Infinite poses as one of the strongest most intimidating foes in the game.

Knuckles is the head of a hero’s resistance while Eggman continues to conquer most of the world. The plot puts Dr. Eggman ahead while most of the world seems to already encounter his vengeance. Sonic joins up with Knuckles and the other hero’s while Eggman gets aid from familiar faces. Shadow the Hedgehog, Metal Sonic, Chaos and Zavok all help Eggman as he rescinds on the world.

It is up to Knuckles, Sonic and a band of heroes to turn the tides and save the world.

Sonic Forces is an exciting game from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. In this game, the renowned hero, Sonic, joins a resistance force against one of the most notable video game enemies, Dr. Eggman. A robot army joins new villain, Infinite, in taking over the world with the famed Dr. Eggman.

Due to the success of Sonic Generations, the team behind this game is bringing back the gameplay switch element. Players can switch between a classic version of sonic and a modern sonic to complete tasks. This platformer offers something for both players old and new to the franchise.

Along with the ability to control both a 2.5D version of Sonic and a 3D modern sonic comes an interesting new mechanic. There is also an ‘Avatar’ gameplay mode where the player customizes their very own Sonic character to control.

To sum up the game, think of it like a mash-up between 2D and 3D platformer. The classic version of sonic takes on 2D tasks while the 3D version tackles modern tasks. It’s a cool mix of both old and new boiled down into a classic feeling Sonic storyline.
