The previous year's world cup was planned to be held in India but later moved to UAE and Oman Because of Covid-19. And this year, Australia will be the host of the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

The 2022 T20 World Cup will be the eight edition of the Men's T20 World Cup. All matches of the tournament will be held in the Australia. Earlier, the 2022 T20 World Cup was scheduled to be held in Australia from 16 October to 15 November 2022, but in July 2021, the International Cricket Council confirmed that the tournament had been postponed due to problems.
