Indus International University

Indus International University (IIU) is the only University in District Una, Himachal Pradesh. It is duly recognized, approved by UGC and one of the few that have complied with all the requirements of UGC. It is also a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU).

The university has been established under Indus International University (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2009, passed by the Legislature of Himachal Pradesh with the right to confer degrees as per sections 2(f) and 22 of the UGC Act 1956. It is promoted by the renowned Kartha Educational Society, (Mumbai). The group has multiple institutions operating in India, UAE, Sri Lanka and in the online-space. The primary objective of the university is to provide access to higher-education opportunities in rural India.
