IW FILMES

The idea of making these films grew out of my passion for cinema and music.

It is my work as an architect seen from my standpoint as a filmmaker.

The subject of each film is an architectural work.

They last from one to two minutes; maybe a little longer.

The films do not explain the project; do not wander through the rooms; they do not serve a documentary purpose.

But they do have a sound score, almost always a tune directly related to the project – sometimes it is just like the client, at others, just like the project – or at times just something I would hear as I designed it.

These films highlight the moment at which, at least for me, the soul of the project appears.

It is just an appetizer.
