Journal “Arterial’naya Gipertenziya” (“Arterial Hypertension”) has been published since 1995. It is a scientific and practical journal considering different issues of hypertension from diagnostics, management and prevention to associated diseases uniting other fields of medicine (e.g. angiology, cardiosurgery, endocrinology, neurology, nephrology etc.). It is one of the first specialized Russian cardiology titles. The Journal is listed by the High Attestation Commission as a recommended issue for candidate and doctoral research publications. Both fundamental issues of pathogenetic mechanisms and clinical trials and recent guidelines are considered for publication. The Journal presents the most recent research to the wide professional audience, as well as tends to increase the quality of scientific work and to keep educational purpose by the independent peer-review of all submitted articles. Moreover, one of the aims of the Title is to ensure the accessibility of Russian research results for a wider international medical society.
