The app identifies the most important sugarbeet leaf diseases and provides advice on treating them. In order to recognize a disease properly, it is necessary to take a picture of the leaf from close distance. Alternatively, a picture form the image gallery can be selected. The app can distinguish between cercospera, beet leaf rust, ramularia, phoma, pseudomonas and unspecified leaf spots (wholes or dust on the leaf).

In addition the app will provide the probability for a correct identification of the disease. Furthermore, the app will provide additional information like disease pattern, control measures and favorable environmental factor for each disease.
