The game has four main modes: Story (the main Story Mode and its bonus Missions), Fighting (offline modes, including Versus, Arcade, Time Attack and Survival), Online and doa. Online modes include an ability to kof and host tournaments for up to 16 doa5 players, Spectator Mode enabling users to chat with other players while watching fights, and doa6 Dojo, a training mode where one can practice with other players.
