Live Tracker is a great way to share your location when you are out on long runs, wild adventures, traveling or in an unknown location.

Great for parents wanting to know if that school field trip is going well and the whereabouts of their love ones.

Live Tracker uses GPS and Network locations, so it will share your location when you are both inside, or when you are in the great outdoors.

Install and register with Live Tracker. To register you need to provide an email and password and you can provide a name.

Once registered, you need to login so that you can enjoy the benefits of Live Tracker.

Allow Live Tracker to access your device location (you will be asked) and you are good to go. You also need to have an Internet connection so that your Location can be shared.

You can manually broadcast (share) your location or you can schedule the broadcast. Broadcasting means to make your location available to those users you have added to your list of friends.

Click on BROADCAST and your location is shared with your friends of choice.

Click Update My Location if you want to see your coordinates first (latitude and longitude) before you start the broadcast and you will find your location coordinates on top of your screen next to your email address.

Click on the Location symbol next to your coordinates and Google Maps will display your current location.

Please note that:

The current latitude and longitude may not necessarily match the last location of your last broadcast.

See your Broadcast status on the top section with the timestamp of your last broadcast.

Troubleshooting - If the Location next to your email address (top of the screen) says null / null please check the following:

1. If the Location on your device is enabled

2. You have given Live Tracker permission to access your device location. This is required only once, when you first use Live Tracker.

3. Your device's GPS or your Network cannot access your location. In this case Sign Out and Sign back in. If that fails, then you may need to restart your device.

You are presented with a list of friends who have allowed you to see their location. You can click on their email address and Google Maps will show you their last known position.

Share your whereabouts by adding a contact to your list of friends (go to Manage Profile on the top right menu). The email address that you provide for your friend must be the same email address used by them to register with Live Tracker.

At the end of your activity, you can type a message in the space at the bottom of the screen (default message is Finished activity) and click on the Tick next to the message. That message will be displayed next to your email address instead of your last known location.

That way your friends will know that you have arrived at your final destination.

Repeatedly broadcast your location every 5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes. In order to stop repeated broadcasts, you need to select Manual broadcast and click on BROADCAST, otherwise Live Tracker

will continue to broadcast your location as often as you have previously selected.
