Los Angeles has a rich and storied history. In 1781, Mexican settlers began a small town of eleven families that grew into the city of over ten million people that it is today. In the late 1800's, immigrants flooded in. Even though economic growth made the city attractive in farming, oil and real estate, Hollywood made the city world famous with its epic films and glamorous movie stars. There was also plenty of tragedy and massacres in the wild wild west, even before the 1900's and the invention of film. However, L.A. has become more notable because of the strange, unexplained deaths, suicides, or murders of its many famous stars.

This city is one of the most haunted in the world. The next few stops are just a drop in the bucket of what moves silently, and not so silently, in the dark of the night. In its alleyways, rooftops, century old hotels or movie studios, strange sounds and mysterious visitors are seen, before quickly disappearing. Even one of its famous bridges and many of its boarded up and neglected hospitals have frequent apparitions.
