Baisden is also a TV Talk Show Host, Film Maker, and New York Times best selling author with over 2 million books in print. Michael is well known for his philanthropic endeavors including spearheading the famous Jena Six March, promotion of Free Clinics, Voter Registration initiatives, Instrumental in getting President Barack Obama elected not once but twice and through the Michael Baisden Foundation his ‘One Million Mentors: National Campaign To Save Our Kids’ which lead to him being awarded the Martin Luther King Jr. Foundation ‘Keepers of The Dream’ award, the ‘Michael Baisden Inspiration Award from BBBS and The Good Brother award from the National Congress of Black Women.
