A metal detector is a tool to search for metals using the embedded magnetic sensor. The magnetic field level (EMF) in nature is about 49µt (micro Tesla) or 490mg (MGs); 1μT = 10mg. The presence of metals in the zone of sensitivity of the sensor may increase this value. In addition, it can be helpful in finding electrical wires in walls and metal in the ground.

To use the tool very simple, you only need to run this app on your mobile device and move it around. You will see that the magnetic field level is displayed on the screen is constantly changing. Colorful lines represent three dimensions, and the numbers on top shows the value of the magnetic field level (EMF). Thats all.

The accuracy of metal detector entirely depends on your mobile device. The magnetic sensor is affected by electronic equipment (TVs, computers) because they emit electromagnetic waves. Please dont blame this app.

A metal detector cannot detect gold, silver or coins made of copper. They are classified as non-ferrous metals that have no magnetic field.
