Welcome to OREA Real Estate College.

The OREA Real Estate College provides The Salesperson Registration Education Program and The Broker Registration Education Program as well as various continuing education courses in the field of real estate.

All real estate professionals in Ontario must pass a comprehensive program of study to ready them for the complex business of trading in real estate. The OREA Real Estate College offers these required courses as designated by the regulating body, the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO).

The College also offers a complete program of continuing education courses designed to provide life-long learning and to satisfy the requirement of continuing education for all registrants under the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act, 2002.

Effective April 1, 2016, the Learning Path of The Salesperson Registration Education Program is being revised. The Pre-registration Segment of the Program will now include a total of five courses including “Real Estate as a Professional Career”, “Land, Structures and Real Estate Trading”, “ The Real Estate Transaction – General and The Residential Real Estate Transaction”, “The Commercial Real Estate Transaction" and "Real Property Law”. The Articling Segment will consist of one elective course.
