Shredder is an application to permanently erase files and directories on smartphone or tablet. After the data has been shredded, it will not be possible to recover from storage. Therefore, it should be used with great carefulness. Almost everyone these days have a large amount of very private data on their devices. You can't just use regular 'delete' on them. This will simply remove the file from the directory structure, but the real data will not be erased, and someone knowledgeable can still get it back.
