SpellingFirst Basic

This app is created to improve spelling skills. A Word shall be spoken by the app and you will spell the word. Using google text to voice technology, the app will check the spelling you have entered against the word that was read by the app. If you get the word correctly then you will get a corresponding point and proceed to the next word.

You have 3 chances to spell the word properly and if you are unable to get the correct spelling after 3 attempts then it will be marked as wrong and points will be deducted to your total score.

After you meet the target score, a customized message will appear on the app which serves as a proof that you have completed the reading challenge.

The target score and corresponding deduction per mistake can be customed using the settings option.

This app is very helpfull for parents who doesnt have the time or patience to teach their children proper spelling. This can be used as a form of challenge to children and if the children sucessfully completed the spelling challenge, they can show the "customized message" to their parent as proof of completing the spelling challenge in exchange perhaps for a reward.

I developed this personally for my daughter who is studying in a multilingual school where english reading is not given proper focus. This app helped me ensure he is spelling english words properly and at the same time this will increase her vocabulary.

To motivate my kids, i will challenge them to complete the spelling game in exchange for a reward such as allowing them to use their gadgets freely throught the day, or giving them gifts as rewards.
