Techkriti

Techkriti is the annual technical and entrepreneurial festival of Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and known to be one of the largest Technical and Entrepreneurial festival of Asia. It was launched in 1995 with the aim of developing interest and encouraging innovation in technology among students. This year, it's silver jubilee edition will be held from 7th to 10th March, 2019. The four days of the festival attract footfall of over 50,000 from around 1500 prestigious colleges all over the world. Many interesting workshops, fascinating shows, enthralling talks, informal events, intriguing exhibitions and exciting competitions together construct the face of technical innovation.

By passing these many years, Techkriti has evolved and has divided itself into many sub-parts, like 52 fabulous competitions, 17 knowledgeable workshops, Technocruise phase I (workshops held in prominent cities of India), Technocruise phase II (preliminary rounds of the competitions in different cities of India), Techkriti Open School Championship (An initiative of Techkriti for school students), Industry 4.0 (The technical summit constituting workshops, talks and panel discussions), Entrepreneurial Conclave (start-up expo), Brightening Lives by Igniting Social Support(BLISS, a social intiative of Techkriti which aims to eliminate the darkness from the lives of the overlooked brackets of society by providing support and care with the belief of spreading smiles). and Handling Opportunities by Promoting Education (HOPE, another social initiative of Techkriti for spreading awareness among the society by promoting education).
