Child Cancer Foundation has teamed up with creative producers Wild in Art to stage Auckland’s biggest ever mass participation, public art trail event - a free and fun activity for families, local communities, tourists and visitors to enjoy. This extraordinary sculpture trail will feature forty seven 1.65 metre tall owl sculptures, decorated by some of New Zealand’s most well-known and emerging artists, and sixty owlets, decorated by Auckland school children. Auckland’s streets, parks and open spaces will play host to these beautifully designed and created owls, generously sponsored by local businesses and business associations, and showcase the wealth of artistic talent in Aotearoa. At the end of trail, the large owls will be flying off to new homes, after being auctioned to raise vital funds for Child Cancer Foundation. Use the app to track down and ‘collect’ all the Owl and Owlet sculptures and enter the special codes to release special offers.
