The Trackunit app means mobile access to ­up-to-date information on vehicle or machinery fleets. Users can get map location or a summary of driving hours, working hours and stopped time for each unit.

Fleet management on smartphone is a handy supplement to the internet-based Trackunit Manager, and includes some of the same functions.

Enhanced security

A smartphone can be used to set up a Geo fence alarm for any unit – a virtual fence around the unit – where the system will alert the user if the unit moves outside. In the event of theft, reaction times are therefore short, reducing the risk of unnecessary cost and loss of earnings.
