NUTRITION IN A NICE

The new part of the application "Do you know what you eat?" called Nutrition in a Nutshell is a practical and clear guide to the world of nutrition. Contains information on nutrients, nutritional recommendations, healthy eating and body mass index (BMI).

EČKA

Part of the Éčka application allows you to search for food additives (known as "éčka") by name or "E code" or by category (functional group).

The food additives used must be listed on the food packaging. In the list of ingredients, the name of the category (functional group) of the food additive is given, followed by its specific name or "E code".

It is possible to work with this part of the Éčka application even without an Internet connection.

FOOD SAFETY A-Z

Another part of the application "Do you know what you eat?" is an explanatory dictionary Food Safety A-Z. The dictionary contains more than 800 basic terms from the issues of food safety, food industry, nutrition and other related fields.

A mobile device data connection is required to work with the Food Safety A-Z dictionary.

WHO WE ARE

The Food Safety Information Center (ICBP) is the communication center of the Food Section of the Ministry of Agriculture.
