ECU Mobile 5.2 introduces support for Android 8, which, by default, scans for beacon notifications less often than earlier Android versions. Users whose devices run on Android 8 might not see beacon notifications often enough. Mobile 5.2 overrides this behavior and ensures that users on Android 8 devices see beacon notifications as often as those on earlier Android versions.
